HOME > EOF PROGRAMMES
The EOF programme currently focuses on providing capacity building opportunities and funds to rural communities, but not excluding urban communities, that have projects in the early childhood development (ECD) and income-generation sectors, with and emphasis on community empowerment. The Foundation has recently reassessed its priorities taking into account the current context. After much discussion by the Board of Trustees a decision was taken to support HIV/AIDS programmes, with an emphasis on home-based care and support for orphans.
Funding support is provided for a variety of activities in each of the sectors.
In the ECD sector, funds are currently provided for:
Training of crche and pre-school teachers and the management committees of such organisations.
The purchase of indoor and outdoor crche and pre-school equipment and educational toys. (Indoor equipment, for example includes stove, chairs, tables)

Project management and Business skills training
Technical skills training
Equipment and materials purchases
